The treatment itself can be from 10-60 min depending on the area treated and the amount of filler used

Recovery and Results

Downtime expectations - There is very little to no social downtime. Lips can be swollen for about 24-48 hours and there's always a possibility of bruising.

When results appear- with filler results are pretty instant. Your face will go through about 2 weeks of inflammation whether or not you can see it with the naked eye. We will have you come back after 2 weeks when all is settled to see your results and to make any tweeks if we need to.

How long results last - depending on the filler that we use and where results can last from 6-24 months. Usually lips, being a high movement area and filler used there is typically softer, they usually last 6-9 months. Cheeks, jawline and chin can last 12-24 months.

Will I look overdone? Never! Our philosophy at Renova is if people can tell what you had done, we didn’t do it right.

How much treatment will I need? It is very individual, but I will say that this is not a one and done thing. There is keep up through out the years as you continue to age.

Does it hurt? There is a needle involved, so I won’t kid you into thinking that it is pain free. But we make it a priority to use numbing, Pronox, and distraction devices to make it a pleasant experience.

How long do results last? Dependent on the filler and placement. Lips 6-9 months. Cheeks 12 months. Chin and jawline 18-24 months. Nasolabial folds 9-12 months.

Is there downtime? Very minimal. We always say plan for bruising and then you’ll be pleasantly surprised when it doesn’t happen. We are very good with our anatomy, but the variability with everyone’s anatomy, we never promise anything.

Can this be combined with other treatments? Absolutely! It’s acutally encouraged. Filler is really only supporting one layer of your face. It is important to treat all layers for optimal results. Skin treatments like lasers and microneedling can be the cherry on top of well done filler.
