Have you ever wondered how long Botox Lasts?

When considering getting Botox, Dysport or Xeomin it’s important to understand how it works and what to expect. Botox takes 5-7 days to kick in. Botox will increase in effectiveness over the first 6 weeks for most people, then start to decrease slowly in the following weeks. Typically life span for a botox treatment is 3-6 months.

Several things can influence how long it last for you, such as the location of injections, amount used, your age, ect. Typically with regular use of Botox, you will need less over time and can go longer between treatments. Botox temporarily weakens the muscles so it’s used less, therefore preventing wrinkles from forming. If you stick with Botox, ideally, that muscle is used less and less, making it weaker on its own. Botox will effect everyone slightly differently and some people may be able to go longer than others between treatments. Have you scheduled your next Botox treatment?
