Most filler is made up of Hyaluronic Acid. HA is naturally present in the human body. It's what gives our skin a plump, smooth look. As one ages, volume is lost in the face creating drooping, sagging and wrinkly skin. Fillers can help with that!
There is a wide range of fillers from robust fillers that can give support and give a little boost to very soft fillers that help smooth out fine lines around the mouth and tear troughs (under eyes). Here at Renova we use Juvederm, Restylane, Belotero and Versa. It's always best to get a thorough consult to see what filler would be best for you and where.
Important things to note before getting filler:
-avoid Ibuprofen and aspirin a coupled days before getting filler
-avoid dental visits 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after
-no alcohol for 2 days
-avoid extreme temps
-avoid vitamin E, omega 3, cod liver oil and garlic tabs
